Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selfless service that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Peggy was born December 20, 1956, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Roger and Joan (Juppe) Daigle.  She was a longtime employee of Sikorsky working in Quality Control.

Besides her husband of 42 years, she is survived by her sons Jesse Eldridge and his wife Virginia, and Brian Eldridge; her daughter Michelle Young and her husband Michael; her brothers Roger Daigle, Michael Daigle and his wife Jan, and Raymond Daigle; her sister Teri Barrow and her husband Mark; her grandchildren Zane Duke, Ezekiel, Xander, Enoch, Zuriah, and Hunter Eldridge, Grace Young, Leala and Zechariah Malisos as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a beloved family member, cherished friend, and trusted confidant. Her unwavering support and unconditional love touched the lives of not only immediate family members but also extended relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit lit up every room she entered, bringing joy and happiness to all those around her.

Throughout her life, Peggy dedicated herself to making the world a better place.

In her professional life, Peggy excelled at work and made significant contributions to the Sikorsky community. Her dedication to excellence, integrity, and mentorship earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers.

Beyond her accomplishments, Peggy fostered connections and created memories that will be treasured by all who participated in her life.

As we bid farewell to Peggy, we find comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will forever remain alive within each of us. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire acts of kindness, making the world a better place, just as she did during her time among us.
